WHO WE ARE
The Laurel Kiwanis Club was founded in 1921 (if you're a history buff, click here to check out our history from 1921 - 1965).
Our membership includes Laurel and Jones County residents from all walks of life. You know us. We are your friends, neighbors co-workers, and church members.
Join Us! Our only requirement for membership is having a heart for children!
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world
one child and one community at a time.
We meet weekly at noon on Wednesday's for lunch with a speaker at the Laurel County Club and everyone is welcome whether you are a member or not!
We provide services to all of the Laurel and Jones County schools, including Key Club Scholarships to deserving high school graduates, and providing Flash Cards to all third grade students.
Our support of our children comes exclusively from donations. Our primary fund raiser is our
Annual Pancake Day
held each year on the first Saturday in December. We will never have enough money to meet our children's needs so the greater our financial support the more services we can provide. Any size donation helps and its cheerfully accepted! And now its more convenient to give using our donation portal located in the footer section of each of our website pages.
